D.R. Horton Homes held the grand opening of Cortaro Ranch, the company's newest community on Tucson's northwest side.

Cortaro Ranch offers a variety of nine single-story and two-story designs ranging from 1,062 to 2,451 square feet. Base prices range from $123,990 to $181,590.

Wells Fargo launches

series of online tutorials

MINNEAPOLISWells Fargo Institutional Trust Services launched a series of five online tutorials covering retirement planning, pre-retirement planning, general financial planning, education savings plans and retirement distribution options.

Plan participants with Internet access can view each 10- to 20-minute presentation with corresponding pre-recorded narration at http://retirementplan.wellsfargo.com. 

UA Channel debuts

live call-in math show

Tutors from the University of Arizona math department will take calls and solve problems on the air during Do the Math, a new television series premiering Sept. 4 on the UA Channel. The program will air live every Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. throughout the school year.

Throughout the two-hour broadcast, viewers can call in their math questions, and UA math tutors will work them out on camera. UA math staff, including at least one bilingual speaker, will man the hotline, at 621-5843. Viewers also may participate via e-mail at dothemath@math.arizona.edu
