TMC lays off 150 as part

of new realignment plan TMC Healthcare issued layoff notices to about 150 employees Thursday (April 26). Frank Alvarez, president and CEO of the healthcare provider headquartered at Tucson Medical Center, said the employee cutbacks are part of a realignment plan to decrease costs, improve operational performance and increase patient care capacity.
