Free ‘how-to’ use session on worker eligibility site

Published on Friday, August 10, 2007

The Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry this week is launching weekly free Web seminars to show the Arizona businesses how to use the Department of Homeland Security’s Basic Pilot Program to verify employment eligibility. A new state law, due to go into effect Jan. 1, requires employers to use the site.

The first session will be from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday (Aug. 16) and continue weekly each Thursday. The sessions will also include an opportunity to ask questions of officials from the Department of Homeland Security.
