Church’s Chicken has sold its 10 company-owned stores in Tucson and Nogales to franchisee Tony Lutfi, of Sacramento, Calif.

Church’s said this is part of its strategy to sell stores to proven franchisees and allow the company to acquire new restaurants in other markets. It plans to open 100 new restaurants by the end of the year.
