The Internal Revenue Service is hiring revenue officers in Tucson to help collect delinquent taxes.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, such as operation of a small business or tax counseling.
Revenue officers will be trained in tax law and collection techniques with duties including research, interviews, investigations and analysis of financial information for assigned cases. Revenue officers also counsel taxpayers on obligations and help determine how to best resolve delinquencies.
