Who do Tucson listeners tune to for politics?

For good or bad, there’s an opinion that talkradio is driving the political agenda. So who are Tucson audiences taking their cues from?

I decided to drill down into the latest Arbitron radio ratings, taken April 3 - June 25, to find out. These are the latest ratings. The next batch won’t be released by Arbitron until just before the Nov. 4 election.

Probably surprising no one, conservative granddaddy Rush Limbaugh on KNST 790-AM is Tucson’s favorite talkradio personality, averaging nearly 13,000 listeners per quarter hour. There are only three radio shows in the market with more listeners: Johnjay & Rich on KRQ 93.7-FM average 26,200 listeners, Max, Shannon & the Porkchop on KIIM 99.5-FM average 17,400 listeners and Bobby Rich on Mix-FM KMXZ 94.9-FM averages 13,800 per quarter hour.

" Your politics are interesting:it appears that you do not tell the truth. When you make statements about political people,& report political comments ,you never back it up w/the facts.I can not believe how you are still on the air.You need to listen to the best radio talk show @ 1330 KJll.They are by far, more superior to your show!
