New Hires The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona hired four new staff members. Kristine Welter is the foundation’s communications officer. She joins the Community Foundation from University Physicians Healthcare and has seven years of marketing, web and communications experience in non-profits. Andrea Thonvold and Katherine Westlund have been hired as community philanthropy associates.  They are responsible for donor development and grant making. Thonvold previously worked for Teen Challenge of Arizona Springboard Home for Youth in Crisis. Westlund was formerly with Cal/West Educators Placement where. Peggy Terry is the new office manager. She is a certified professional in Human Resources with more than 10 years of experience in senior level HR roles, most recently as director of Human Resources at Universal Avionics Systems Corporation.
