The 18,000-square-foot building, at 2005 E. Innovation Park Drive, Integrated Biomolecule’s main base of operations. The company is currently in transitional space and is looking for new headquarters soon, according to founder and President Robert Green.
"We’re continuing to do our activities," Green said. "We’re actually working with the University of Arizona to work on a joint project on organic synthesis. We’re still in town, we’re still in business."

"Acquiring the existing IBC facility allows for immediate expansion of our research and development capabilities," said Alana Bolton, a Ventana Medical spokeswoman, in a press release.
Ventana Medical is owned by Swiss-based Roche Holding, which announced last month it would be expanding its Tucson operations.
To Green, the sale bodes well for the area’s different businesses.
"I think it shows how vibrant the Arizona biotech industry is now, but these things are happening," he said.
