The Metropolitan Tucson Convention & Visitors Bureau and the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort and Spa received 2008 Planners’ Choice Awards from MeetingNews magazine.

The awards honor excellence in the meetings industry and excellence in resorts.

This year the readers of MeetingNews selected 32 domestic and 12 international convention and visitors bureaus with the Planners’ Choice Award distinction. More than 40,000 meeting, convention and incentive travel planners were asked to select their preferred organizations around the world based on quality of service.
