Breckenridge Group added five people to its staff. Jose Gastellum, drafter, re-joined the firm’s Department of Defense Studio. Previously, Jose worked for Grenier Engineering as a civil designer. Prior to working for Grenier, Jose worked for Breckenridge Group for two years. Erin Faubion joined the firm’s Department of Defense Studio as a project manager. Eileen Fagan will take on the role of LEED project manager, overseeing all of the projects that are slated to be LEED certified. Leonardo Alonso was recently hired as a designer for Breckenridge Group’s Municipal/Public Safety Design Studio. He also most recently worked for Archetype 5 where he worked as a Project Manager for two years. The newest addition to their team is Carl Kilgore. He is a project manager/architect for the Department of Defense Studio.

Prisma Graphic Corp. hired Lisa Comella to expand Prisma Graphic’s presence in the Tucson market. Comella is a 24-year resident of Tucson, who has been in the commercial printing industry for more than 20 years.
Awards, honors, and recognitions
The Arizona Association of Realtors honored James “J.T.” Tsighis with the Arthur G. Crozier Distinguished Service Award. Tsighis, an associate broker of Realty Executives Southern Arizona, was selected for the Distinguished Service Award because of his meritorious service to the association, especially focused in the areas of risk management. The Distinguished Service Award was designed to recognize an individual who has given tireless and meaningful service to the association and whose activities have a positive impact on the group’s members.
Dean C. Christoffel, a partner at West, Christoffel and Zickerman, has been selected as one of the recipients of the Volunteer Lawyers Program’s Lifesaver Award. The Lifesaver Award was created to honor attorneys that rescue the Volunteer Lawyers Program most often during the year. Dean is being recognized for the contributions he has made in launching the Domestic Relations Clinic in Pinal County, recruiting other attorneys to participate in the clinics, and putting together a “traveling show” to go to Casa Grande for the program’s first ever domestic relations clinic in Pinal County.
Appointments
Governor Janet Napolitano has reappointed commissioners Darryl Dobras, Shirley Chann, and Allison Hughes to serve another three years on the Arizona Commission on the Arts board. The governor appointed Dobras as the new chair of the commission.
The Pima Community College Board of Governors appointed A. Rachelle Howell assistant vice chancellor for marketing. Howell has more than 16 years of experience in marketing, research, business planning/consulting and strategic planning in the private sector and post-secondary education. Prior to her appointment at the College, Howell served as dean of marketing and community relations for the R. Jan LeCroy Center for Educational Telecommunications at the Dallas County Community College District.
