Fill-er-up costs Tucsonans $14.90 less than a year ago

It cost $28.79, on average, for a Tucsonan to fill a 15-gallon tank with regular gasoline the day before Thanksgiving. That’s 34 percent less than the $43.69 to the same thing last year, according to AAA Arizona.

The auto club’s weekly survey reported Tucson’s average price for regular unleaded was $1.938 per gallon last week, down 15½ cents from the previous week.
