Sahuarita, Marana, South Tucson elect council members

In elections tabulated May 19, voters in Sahuarita and South Tucson replaced their council incumbents but in Marana it was the other way around.

Sahuarita’s newly elected members of the town council are Duane Blumberg (2,646 votes), Kara Egbert (2,399 votes) and Rosanna Gabaldon (2,006 votes) who prevailed over John J. Sullivan (1,848 votes), Alex Jacome (1,417) and Roger Minor (1,261). Sullivan and Minor are incumbents.

Voters in Marana re-elected Jon Post (1,672 votes) and Carol McGorray (1,392) over challengers Kelle Maslyn (1,236) and Larry Steckler (900).

In South Tucson, challenger John Felix (109 votes) beat incumbent Ildefonso Green (79) to win a seat on the City Council.
