Tucson ranks with the ‘creative class’

What does Tucson have better than San Antonio, Los Angeles or Houston? It ranks better as a place to live and work for young professionals, according to Next Generation Consulting, in Madison, Wis., which developed the rankings based on 45 measures in seven areas tracking earning, learning, vitality, around town, after hours, cost of lifestyle and social capital.

Tucson ranked No. 16 on the Next Cities list of “super cities” with populations of more than 500,000. San Francisco tops the list, followed by Seattle, Boston, Washington, D.C., and Denver.
