CyraCom to hire 400 in Tucson call center

Published on Friday, June 26, 2009

Tucson-based CyraCom International Inc., which provides on-call foreign language translations to the medical industry,  has signed to open an interpreter call center in a 30,000 square-foot facility near Tucson International Airport.

The center will have 400 employees.

CyraCom, headquartered at 5780 N. Swan Road, says it is the leading provider of language solutions for the healthcare industry and is the only company of its kind to be endorsed by the American Hospital Association. Its over-the-phone interpretation service enables limited English proficient patients to communicate with healthcare providers in any language.

The new space in the Tucson Airport Center, 2801 and 2849 E. Elvira Road, is being leased under a five-year agreement with Holualoa Arizona Inc. CyraCom has interpreter centers currently operating in Nogales and in Las Cruces, N.M.

Robert Davis, William DiVito and Howard Kong with Grubb & Ellis represented both Holualoa and CyraCom.
