Northwest Medical Center opened the Wound Care Center at Northwest, 6130 N. La Cholla Blvd., Suite 111.

Billed as the first comprehensive wound care and hyperbaric treatment facility on the northwest side, the center is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The phone number for appointments is (520) 469-8810.

Among the treatment specialties offered are diabetic foot ulcers, chronic venous stasis disease, arterial ulcers, soft tissue infection, osteomyelitis, skin tears or lacerations, radiation burns and traumatic wounds.
