On July 28, Jax Kitchen will host their first wine maker’s dinner with Fred Peterson, owner of Peterson Winery. The cost of the dinner is $75 per person (plus tax & gratuity) and features a four-course dinner, paired with Peterson wines.
Peterson Winery is in the Dry Creek Valley area of Sonoma, Calif., and their wine making philosophy is “zero manipulation.” For Peterson winery, that means using the most gentle, traditional winemaking practices possible to maximize flavors, aromatics and texture of the wines. In other words, this winery celebrates and embraces the nuances each vintage of wine production brings rather than manipulating their wines to taste same year after year.
In other news from Jax Kitchen, it has stopped serving lunch for the remainder of summer with plans to reopen again for lunch starting Oct. 1.
