The Metropolitan Education Commission has received a $100,000 federal challenge grant for its Regional College Access Center.

Administered through the governor’s office, the funding will be used to help all Pima County students get access to and succeed in college. A special focus will be an outreach program for students from low-income households or who are the first in their family to attend post secondary education programs.
