The Tucson INSIDER: GOP’s Maxwell joins Munger

Insights and trends on developing and ongoing Tucson regional business news.

Pima County Republican Party Executive Director Paula Maxwell is changing hats this week to become Southern Arizona co-coordinator for John Munger’s gubernatorial campaign.

“John asked me to help,” she said. “It’s too early to know specific duties but I’ll do whatever he needs to help the campaign.”

Dedicated to the end, Maxwell worked until almost midnight on election night last week instead of attending the Republican’s post-election party. She volunteered to monitor incoming ballots at one of the county’s receiving stations.
