Int'l School launches pre-school Mandarin

EDUCATION/RESEARCH

Published on Tuesday, February 09, 2010

The International School of Tucson this month opened a Mandarin-immersion class for children ages 3 and 4.

The school says the program is identical in scope and format to its immersion programs in French, German and Spanish that are offered to children in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade.

The Mandarin immersion class will be taught by a native-speaker teacher from Taiwan who has just completed a postgraduate degree in teaching second languages.
